In addition to being a faculty member, I am also a peregrino of the Camino de Santiago. I completed two pilgrimages on The Way. In 2023, I walked 271 kilometers (168 miles) on the Camino Frances and in summer 2025, walked 240 kilometers (150 miles) on the Camino Portuguese. From these experiences, I aim to use my own spiritual growth as a lens towards understanding current higher education culture and behavior. Most importantly, I see my Caminos as gifts that help me become a better human!
