IN PROGRESS: This space will be devoted to information and artifacts connected to my research study on “Mexican Schools” in rural Texas.
I am currently developing manuscripts bases on my initial interviews with former students of these (in my opinion) forgotten segregated schools in Texas.
In my initial study, I interviewed 10 former students who despite on average being in their mid-80s, vividly recall their early childhood schooling in these schools.
My first presentation from my study was presented at NCORE 2017 in Ft. Worth, Texas.
A first manuscript is in progress. Another will soon follow in addition to further investigations and interviews with students.
